Data Collection & Purpose
We collect only the information needed to provide our service — parent email, child's first name and age, task completion records, and emotion logs. Your data is never sold to third parties. We collect data only to operate, improve, and support the app for your family.
Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
We take children's privacy seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Our app is designed for use by children aged 6–16 under parental supervision.
- We require parental consent before collecting any child information.
- Child profiles are created and managed solely by the parent who owns the account.
- We collect only the minimum information needed to provide the service.

Information We Collect
Parent Information.
Name, email address, and account credentials used for authentication. If you subscribe, your billing information is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your credit card number.
Child Information.
First name, age, avatar selection, task completion records, and emotion logs. We do not collect full names, addresses, photos, biometric data, geolocation, or any other directly identifying information about children.
Usage Data.
Task completion patterns, emotion tracking trends, and app usage statistics, used only to improve your family's experience.
How We Use Information
- To provide personalized task management, emotion tracking, and rewards features.
- To generate progress reports for parents.
- To send transactional and optional email notifications you've consented to.
- To improve our service and develop new features.
- To process subscription payments via Stripe.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), encrypted database storage, PIN-protected access to the parent zone, optional per-child access PINs, and access controls on every API endpoint.
Data Retention
We retain account data while your account is active. Parents can request deletion of all data associated with their account and child profiles at any time by emailing us — we process deletion requests within 30 days. If you cancel your subscription, your data is preserved so you can resume later; you can permanently delete the account anytime.
Third-Party Services
We use these third-party services to operate the app:
- Stripe for subscription billing (PCI-compliant payment processing).
- Email delivery providers for transactional notifications you've opted into.
These services are contractually bound to protect user data and use it only for the purposes we've authorized. We never sell data to third parties.
Parental Rights
Parents have the right to:
- Review their child's personal information.
- Request deletion of their child's data.
- Refuse further collection of their child's information.
- Opt out of email communications.
- Export their family's data at any time.
